Philip Tarr focuses his practice on helping people injured in motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls and workplace accidents. Phil takes pride in being involved in all aspects of his cases from initial consultation up through trial. 

Prior to concentrating in personal injury and workers’ compensation law, Phil represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex tort matters including asbestos litigation, vaccine litigation, and consumer class actions.  Mr. Tarr was certified as class counsel in one of New Jersey’s largest class action settlements Cerbo v. Ford of Englewood.  Working for both Plaintiffs and Defendants has afforded Phil with insight as to the tactics used by insurance companies and defense firms. 

Mr. Tarr has helped injured people receive multi-million dollar settlements and jury verdicts.  He  is skilled in building solid relations with clients, while developing and executing file strategies based on each client’s unique needs and circumstances.  

Phil grew up in Leonia, New Jersey and attended Rutgers University/Cook College where he earned his B.S. in Environmental Science.  After working for several years in that field he continued his education receiving his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University.  Phil still lives in northern New Jersey where he resides with his family.  In his free time, you can find him fishing, hunting and enjoying the outdoors with friends and family.
